Ellie Towers is an artist working in new media, collage, film, installation and writing. Concerned with the reformation of interaction through simulacral forms, her work attempts to unpack interpersonal relationships and anecdotally provoke, often alongside creative partner Reece Griffiths. Exploring how warpings of gender, domestic-life, and socially-fringed outlooks could help dismantle the ties of moralistic and capital-convention, she joins the viewer on a pilgrimage through fictional landscapes cobbled together from a catalogue of idiosyncratic totems.
