New Bed Making Progress (2022) - Full Film
'‘New Bed Making Progress’ was commissioned by Convenience-Gallery and made to celebrate Birkenhead Park's 175th Birthday. It illustrates points of intrigue around the park - a renovation diary kept where toads were found in the basement, two significant motifs combined fictionally into a tall cricket house turned home which inadvertently becomes a camera obscura - exploring personal sense of place within the human-curated version of nature. As I moved homes over the course of making the work, the idea of seeking sanctuary within shared-environments was key.''

New Bed Making Progress - Audio Track Visualizer
As Part of the 09.12.21 -24.04.22 Digital Residency with IMT Gallery London, each artist created a series of 'Art Drops' which were released monthly. During this time, amongst other clips, projects, ideas, recordings and interviews, I made a pair of 'Extras' from the 'New Bed Making Progress' Film Project.
The work above is an Audio Track visualizer, which acts as a way to listen, uninterrupted, to the full soundtrack for this work, which was made by Joe Goff. The work below imagines a series of extensions on the park, and the potential of public spaces if used & cared for thoroughly.
